Established in 2020, Aashiyana Welfare World is a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing critical cases, treating fatal diseases, and providing a life of dignity to animals who have known only suffering.
Est. 2020
We believe that no life is too small to save, and no injury is too severe to treat. Every soul has the right to get life and freedom, away from the silent sufferings of the streets.
Chanu Bajaj founded Aashiyana with a simple but powerful mission: a world where animals are treated with the respect and care they deserve, free from cruelty and neglect. Alongside her team, she works tirelessly to rescue and treat animals in critical condition, provide them with food and shelter, and raise awareness through community education.
Her long-term dream is to build a sanctuary where rescued animals can live out their lives in peace and happiness, surrounded by the care they were once denied.
We're working to build a place where animals can live happily and receive the best care possible. Our dream is a world free from cruelty, where animal rights are protected through advocacy, awareness, and consistent rescue efforts. Humans have the power to speak up for their own rights, but that same voice needs to be raised for the animals who can't speak for themselves. Caring means sharing that care.
Aashiyana means home. We rescue the most critical cases and treat many minor ones on the spot with the help of a paravet, taking every serious case to private clinics for full treatment. Once recovered, dogs are safely returned to their territory under the watch of a local caretaker, while aged or non-releasable animals stay permanently under our care. Feeding dogs, cats, and cows nutritious meals with supplements is part of our daily routine.
Three pillars of our daily work for animals in need.
We go on quests to rescue and recover dogs and cats roaming our streets, responding to calls and reports of animals in distress.
We provide free veterinary treatment to strays, rescues, and pets, from basic checkups to complex surgical care.
We help our rescues find both temporary foster homes and forever families, giving every animal a chance at a better life.
What started as a childhood instinct to feed stray puppies has blossomed into a full-scale professional rescue operation. Aashiyana is not just a shelter; it is a promise that the most neglected animals will find medical recovery and lifelong love.
We specialize in the most critical cases—those that others might deem "unreachable." Our home is a place where pain is replaced by peace.
Fighting the most fatal diseases with precision and care.
Parvo is a death sentence for many puppies. We have created a specialized "Recovery Zone" to isolate infected puppies, giving them the intensive care and supplements needed to fight back and survive.
From treating severe maggot infections and TVT tumors to rehabilitating paralyzed animals, our medical wing focuses on "Rescue Till Recovery."
Building a sustainable world where humans and animals coexist in harmony.
Preventing the birth of thousands of stray animals into a life of suffering. We have successfully spayed 400-500 animals to control the population.
Our "Anti Rabies 9 in 1" vaccination drives protect whole communities from fatal diseases and ensure a healthier stray population.
We champion the beauty of "Indies." We advocate for the adoption of abandoned dogs and cats, giving them the forever homes they deserve.
These are not just animals; they are survivors. Every story is a victory over pain.
